Job Description

Class 2 DriverManchesterUCH Logistics is a dynamic, customer focused provider of specialist transport services to the airfreight industry. We operate from Heathrow and Manchester where we maintain and operate a large and modern fleet of vehicles.We are seeking an additional Class 2 Driver to join our fantastic team of professionals on a full-time, permanent basis to focus on our local, imports and Manchester Airport deliveries and collections.In addition to terrific driving abilities, you should possess great customer service skills and be able to remain calm and polite in all circumstances.Your essential qualifications for these vital roles will include:

  • A valid Class 2 Driving Licence
  • A valid UK CPC Card
  • A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
This role will see you collecting and delivering an assortment of freight throughout the UK. The start time will be as business requires, but generally between 5:00am and 8:00am Monday to Friday. Weekend work is optional and nights out are rare but possible.We are offering superb rates of pay based on working Monday to Friday on a 50 hour working week including your mandatory breaks. In reality, with the overtime available, you can earn significantly more:
  • Class 2 Drivers : £12.75 per hour
  • Guaranteed 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Overtime available
  • 28 days holiday pa, rising to 30 days after 2 years service (incl bank holidays)
  • Workplace Pension Scheme
  • On Site Parking
A 5-year checkable history is required, and proof of your Right to Work in the UK will be required at interview stage.
