Job Description

Warehouse Operator with Counter Balance Fork Lift LicenceMaldonMonday - Friday8:00 - 16:00The suitable candidate would start of as a temporary worker with view to go permanent after 12 weeks.Responsible for warehouse related tasks whilst adhering to HSE, site and personal health & safety requirementsDuties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Be aware of top risks in the area and be able to communicate these to others
  • Report near misses and operate red card system when required
  • Complete 6s reports and maintain clean, safe working area in line with 6s culture
  • Complete equipment safety checks (For example: PIT, Racking, Ramps)
  • Maintain 100% clear aisle policy
  • Receive deliveries and accurately complete paperwork and booking in as required
  • Receive customer returns and action inline with SOP
  • Prepare inventory picks and load customer orders accurately and line with loading requirements
  • Book UK freight consignments in line with freight provider policy
  • Complete dispatch paperwork accurately where required
  • Deliver raw materials to production lines in accordance with fixed plan
  • Remove finished stock from the shop floor and locate in warehouse areas
  • Use hand held scanners for dispatch, production outputs and internal movements of stock
  • Ensure waste skips (internal & External, including the compactor) are emptied and maintained
  • Participate in stock take activities when required
  • Participate in departmental improvement projects
  • Complete required KPI reporting on visual management boards
  • Additional warehouse tasks as required by Warehouse Supervisor
  • Complete critical item checks
  • Works Order administration
  • Must be able to manage some physical activities. Job involves some manual handling

    • RTITB CB Fork Lift Truck License essential2 years experience in a warehouse / shop floor environment Required skills
