Job Description

Pay: MPS/UPS Start Date: September 2021Maplesden Noakes is an 11-18co-educational non-selective school with approximately 1214 pupils on rollincluding 262 in the sixth form. The school has an excellent reputation, ispopular with parents and regularly over-subscribed. We are seeking to appoint adynamic and proactive music specialist from September 2021. The successfulcandidate will:

  • Have a high level of proficiencyin music performance
  • Be able to run extra-curricularactivities
  • Be able to co-ordinate concertsand offer wider performance opportunities in the local community
  • Undertake a role in the schoolannual production (in collaboration with the Dance and Drama departments)
  • Have knowledge of musictechnology (Sibelius/Cubase)
  • Have the ability to teach EDUQASGCSE Music and BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in MusicPerformance
