This role is for you if you have experience of working in diverse, fast paced Project Management and are keen to make a difference to society. We are looking for:- In depth Project and Program Management experience (ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously)- Experience in coaching individuals and teams, promoting continuous improvement and quality outputs.- Experience in managing third parties - In depth knowledge of project management methodologies and processes (DSDM, Prince, Agile)- Ability to produce high quality, accurate project documentation, plans and progress reports.- Ability to manage stakeholders and run meetings effectively- Excellent collaborative working style- Strong relationship builderAs a Senior Technical Project Manager in the IT department, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex technical projects within our organisation. Your expertise will be crucial in aligning businessgoals with technical solutions, ensuring timely project completion, and maintaining the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will serve as the first point of escalation for the Project Management Team, providing guidance, mentoring, and overseeingproject governance and auditing to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accountability.Responsible to: IT Portfolio Delivery ManagerBudgetary responsibilities: No direct department budget responsibilities. The project manager will be responsible for the management and control of the project budget on behalf of the project sponsor.Responsible for (staff/jobs): This role has no direct reports or line management responsibilities. The Senior Project Manager will have responsibility for managing the day-to-day activities of resources across IT and 3rd parties for project delivery and for providing mentoring and guidance to the Project Management Team.
