A permanent position has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker within the endoscopy unit at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. This position is central to the decontamination of Endoscopic Instruments and supporting the registered nurses to care for all patients undergoing diagnostic investigations and recovery.Working in this fast, progressive and friendly environment will provide job satisfaction and considerable interest to the successful candidate.We invite you to arrange an informal visit to view the Endoscopy department, meet the staff and ask any questions you may have. Contact Sister Mary Digman.You will be expected to attend the Trust’s Clinical Induction Programme for Clinical Support Workers (which starts on the first day of employment). The programme is full-time (please contact the CSW Induction Programme Lead if this is going to be problematic: ), lasts for two weeks and will involve travelling to both Trust sites. The programme includes 2 supernumerary shifts in the clinical area (an early and a late shift), all of the other days are classroom-based and run from 9am to 5pmPlease note that appointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Check at enhanced level.
