Job Description

Would you like to work in a fast paced, dynamic WarehouseAdecco are one of the largest Recruitment agencies in the world and have partnered with one of the largest online retailers in the world, who are as candidate focused as they are customer focused and have warehouse employment opportunities in Port Talbot!Excellent Pay Rate Provided:

  • £10.00 per hour (days)
  • £11.75 per hour (nights) (£11.00 + £0.75 seasonal supplement*)
  • Overtime rates between £15.00 per hour to £20.00 per hour
*seasonal supplement will end on January 1st 2022Start your role before 30th October 2021 and also receive a £1500 sign on bonus. - In order to receive the bonus you must start work between the 3rd October and 30th October and attend all scheduled shifts.The bonus will be paid in two equal instalments during your first 3 months; one after 45 days tenure and the second at 90 days tenure.If you have been re-hired and your previous termination date was from 3rd October 2021 until end of day shift on 30th October 2021, you do not qualify for the sign on bonus. Offer ends after the 30th October.Shift Patterns06:00-12:3005:00-13:3001:00-11:3015:30-19:30Roles offer up to 40 hours per week and are on a fixed shift pattern.Your role as a Warehouse Operative:
  • To provide an excellent delivery experience for customers by receiving & sorting parcels into the correct postcodes and ensuring accuracy within the parcels
  • Working in an exceptionally fast-paced and engaging environment
  • Handling the full range of items sold
  • Lifting and moving products up to 23kg in weight
The role involves the following physical requirements on a daily basis:
  • Standing and/or walking during the duration of a shift
  • Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching
  • Pushing, pulling and lifting product up to 23kg in weight
  • Manual dexterity of both hands and wrists
  • Working on a secure mezzanine at a height of between 9 to 12 metres (equivalent to a 3 or 4 storey building)
  • Regularly climbing and descending flights of stairs safely
