Quality EngineerLocation - Maesteg (Commutable from Swansea)Do you have Quality Engineer experience, and are you seeking a new job in Maesteg Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Quality Engineer, and the role comes with an excellent salary and benefits package.As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes and products to ensure quality specifications and technical standards are met.In your first few weeks in this Quality Engineer role, you can expect to:

Investigate internal and external non-conformances
Coordinate the activities of the Internal Audit Team and execute audits as per plan
Manage follow-up of corrective actions for completion
Conduct process audits to the approved schedule

3-5 years of experience within engineering or a technical role
Problem-solving to correct issues impacting compliance
Experience using laboratory product testing equipment and report writing
Knowledge of quality improvement tools - SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow and SMED
Lean Six Sigma green belt
