I am currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance and Facilities Engineer for a Client in the Bridgend area.Job role* Fault finding, able to identify operating sequences and see the issue and rectify in minimum time with little disruption.* Able to work unsupervised and make basic decisions. Complete job lists without being prompted.* Preferably Electrical bias, experience in installation and panel fault finding.* Mechanical capabilities, able to understand how and why things operate in this manner.* Basic welding required to manufacture frames and railings for example from engineering drawings to correct dimensions.* Basic plumbing skills, knowledge of fittings, installation of pipe work and safe isolation of systems.* Craftsmanship knowledge, the role is varied and not just machine and factory based. You must have good all-round workmanship skills.* Inventive, able to see, create and execute projects.* Able to read engineering drawings.* Able to read electrical drawings.* Pneumatic systems, knowledge of pneumatic systems, fittings and correct isolation for safe working.* Facility maintenance, from offices to toilets, this role covers, develop and repair of all areas.* Able to work well as part of a small team, trust and respect is key in a small team.* Follow the preventative maintenance plan and complete all tasks.* Learn, fault find and operate all works machinery.* Help with Production if and when required.* Be flexible with working hours to suit production requirements.The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 4pm.
