Transport Planning Manager- £35,000 - £40,000 +BenefitsBased at our Head Office in Macclesfield.Superbike Factory Ltd was founded in 2010 and has developed into the largest retailer of new & used motorbikes in Europe. Superbike Factory is a data rich, digital first business, offering the only true end to end to online consumer experience in the sector,helped by our purpose built Super-Sites in Macclesfield and Donington Park. We also have over 2000 new and used motorbikes in our Macclesfield & Donington Park show rooms at any one time, and we are open daily for customers old and new to come and marvelat the number and selection of bikes we have in store. Backed by one of the most successful private equity houses in Europe, the business is now embarking on its next phase of growth, currently employing over 350 people. We opened our second Super-Site atDonnington Park racetrack in 2021 and are planning two additional site openings this year, in addition to a recent acquisition. Superbike Factory is simply the go to place for motorbike fanatics! You dont have to love motorbikes to work here, although manyof our team have turned their passion in to their career! The growth of our business is beating all expectation and has led to a further two new site openings. There are further plans to open more sites later in the year and in 2023.We are currently looking for a Transport Planning Managerto coordinatethe 50+ Driversnationwide, this will also be overseeing a team of Logistics Planners.Transport Planning Manager

• Support and manage day-to-day operations of the transport planning within the SBF Group
• Manage and support team of transport planners
• Liaise closely with Transport Fleet Manager to ensure vehicle/equipment are always available
• Oversee effective route planning for both collections and deliveries
• Ensure all H&S requirements are met for the planning team and drivers
• Oversee management of driver hours within UK regulation
• Proactively work with purchasing and sales team to maximise calendar efficiency
• Manage the team to deliver against key financial and performance targets
• Create and share weekly/monthly reports to SMT
• Ensuring all Legal, Maintenance, UK & EU Driving Regulations and Operational procedures are always adhered to, ensuring the safety of self and others.
• Support the delivery of the Business Plan - setting and achieving specific measurable targets for the team.
• Maximise productivity and manage resource to reduce costs.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders on regular basis to ensure delivery of wider production operation
• Performance Management of all colleagues within the team to ensure the achievement of operational targets.

What we are looking for:

• Flexible, adaptable approach and a proved track record of delivering against targets
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on service and customer
• Strong geographical knowledge
• Excellent Transport knowledge of current UK Working Time regulations
• Experience of working in a Planning role in a Transport
• Demonstrable experience of leading and developing a team
• Strong organisational and planning skills
