Job Description

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading planning consultancy in Cheshire on the hire of a Senior Planning Consultant.Our client provides a full range of services including planning applications, appeals, planning appraisals and development promotion to a range of clients that include private individuals and national developers.They take a pragmatic approach in all that they do and have an enviable track record of positive outcomes from applications, appeals, and related planning matters.This large and experienced consultancy has a position for a Senior Planning Consultant to join the company for 12 months to cover maternity and can start in January or February.Qualifications and Experience

  • Town Planning degree
  • MRTPI
  • 3-5+ years experience
  • Experience of simultaneously managing a large and diverse range of projects.
  • Proven track-record of successful applications and appeals.
  • Experience of Public Inquiries
  • Excellent commercial awareness of the necessity of keeping fees to estimate, managing client expectations, timely invoicing and ensuring payment of work undertaken.
