Job Description

Production Manager role for a bespoke manufacturing company. Managing the Electrical Assembly Department, based in Macclesfield.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established and respected industrial and manufacturing firm. With a global reach and a strong presence in Macclesfield, the firm employs over 500 staff members and is continually expanding its operations.DescriptionThis position is for a Production Manager in the Electrical Assembly department, overseeing all production activities within a leading Industrial/Manufacturing firm based in Macclesfield

  • Manage and oversee all production activities within the electrical assembly department.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the companys strategic objectives.
  • Monitor productivity and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all production activities align with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and manage the production budget.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the production team.
ProfileA successful Production Manager (Electrical Assembly) should have:
  • A proven track record as a production manager, preferably with exposure to an electrical assembly environment.
  • Experience managing a production team in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of electrical assembly processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Electrical assembly of low volume complex electro-mechanical dynamic capital equipment - advantageous but not essential
  • Execution of capital electrical projects (built to order) - advantageous but not essential
