Macmillan Davies are looking to attract an experienced HR Business Partner into a permanent role on behalf of a multi-site business with its UK Head Office in Macclesfield, Cheshire.About the role The HR Business Partner is a vital role within the management of the UK business and will require an individual who is comfortable providing full generalist HR coverage to circa 300 employees within the UK.The role will require somebody who can: *Develop strong, lasting and trusted relationships with managers whilst influencing at all levels*Provide sound advice and guidance on a range of HR issues and handling queries in line with employment law and legislation*Act responsibly when handling ER cases and implement effective performance management*Take ownership of the recruitment cycle utilising external partners where necessary*Ensure implementation, development and continuous improvements of policies and initiatives to improve employee practices and engagement across the organisation*Manage a small HR team (including payroll); providing day-to-day support and clear direction, as well as ensuring personal development *Maintain, and ensure accurate information in HRIS as necessary*Negotiate and manage all employee benefit contracts (private health, income protection, group life etc.) About youWere looking for a suitably qualified, proactive HR professional who can inject enthusiasm into their role and team. You will be able to confidently cover all aspects of the HR cycle and be at ease forging relationships at all levels within a business. A workingknowledge gained in a multi-national production, engineering or logistics environment would be a distinct advantage in this non-unionised business. Offering honest, sound and pragmatic advice is essential in this role which centres on making the business agreat place to work.
