Particularly in accordance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and UK GDPR. Ultimatelyacting as Data ProtectionOfficer (DPO) for the group.We are offering an opportunity forthe right individual to train as a Certified - Data Protection Officer.Leading and developing the small Compliance and Quality Assurance (QA) Team. Providing independent 2nd line oversight andsupporting the ongoing training and development of colleaguesin relation to compliance requirements in their role.SuperBike FactoryLtd is a creditbroker,authorised and regulated by theFinancial Conduct Authority(FCA)The role is at Head Office, based in Macclesfield with some limited travel to sites around the UK. A degree of home working is supported.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and implement appropriate policy framework to ensure compliance with FCA Handbook and UK GDPR.Leading and embedding an information risk-aware culture.Deliver a risk-based compliance monitoring plan.Design and maintenance of a proportionate Risk Management FrameworkLead FCA Consumer Duty implementation.Ensure compliance with FCA SM&CR. Overall responsibility for ensuring that the QA Framework remains effective, monitors regulatory risks, and enables operational process improvement.Manage reporting and relationships with relevant regulatory bodies, including; FCA, and Information Commissioners Office (ICO).Manage all client, investor, and supplier audits and reviews.Lead and develop the QA and Compliance Team (currently 3).Review of current compliance controls and processes to ensure that they are fit for purpose and capable of supporting the ongoing growth of the business.Developing guidance materials, controls and training resources, and internal handbook.Provide advice to the business on any regulatory and compliance issues.Attend senior management meetings.Chair the Compliance Meeting.Informing the FCA of breaches in regulations and acting as a point of contact.Keeping the FCA register up to date with all requirements.Reporting to the Board as required on compliance controls.Monthly reporting to the individual SMT areas on compliance-related areas identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.Experience RequiredGood working knowledge of UK GDPR.Skilled compliance generalist, across the full range of compliance activities.Skilled in challenging where necessarystakeholder management.Consumer motor finance background ideally but loans or credit cards as a minimum, and good knowledge ofFCA rules and regulations/governance issues in the sector.Experienced in creating and working with a Compliance Monitoring plan.Excellent Excel and IT skills generally.Commercially astute.Key AttributesA natural communicator at alllevelsgood soft skills and can engender credibilityTechnically strong and good academics.Challenges the status quo and looks to improve the reporting environment.Able to manage and prioritise workload in a fast-moving environmentA self-starter, commercially focused, and solutions orientatedTeam management/supervision within a compliance/QA settingHours: 8.30 am- 5.30 pm, Monday - Friday.Home working supported.Free ParkingOn-site Factory Heads CafeBenefits Netflix MembershipThe Dining Group Discount CardGymflex BenefitGroup Life Assurance 4 x salary15% Staff Discount on AccessoriesStaff Discounts on SBF BikesSalary Sacrifice Pension SchemeCycle to Work SchemeHealth Care + WellbeingBenefits, Bereavement Counseling, Critical illness support, Legal support, Cancer Support, Fitness plans and nutrition advice, Physiotherapy +Mental Health Consultation, 24/7 Employee Doctor Help Line
