Position: CAD Designer/ Draughtsman - Junior Salary: Up to £21,000 P/ a Location: South Leicestershire Shift: Day SF Recruitment are actively searching for a Junior Cad Designer/ Draughtsman to work for a rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Leicestershire. The role is commutable from places such as Hinckley, Rugby and Lutterworth. The successful candidate will have a varied role which will include: - Computer aided design/ Computer aided manufacturing (Laser and press brake) - Producing accurate CAD drawings, illustrations and bills of materials - To check drawings produced by third parties for accuracy and conformance to standards - Liaising with other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are completed - Managing sample process ensuring all designs and fabrications are executed correctly - Liaising with the workshop to ensure smooth delivery - Dealing with customers and site visits - Ensuring compliance with internal systems/processes - Providing outstanding customer service - Fast paced work environment The ideal candidate: - Knowledge of CAD software in particular AutoCad or SolidWorks would be advantageous, as would Amada based software knowledge - Someone ambitious who is looking to grow with the company and is always striving for improvements in all aspects of business - Must be innovative and forward thinking - A creative individual who is keen to implement systems to streamline and improve our day to day operations - Good time management is essential and being able to prioritise as this is a never-ending job and there will always be more to be done - Good interpersonal skills - able to build and manage relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers - Ability to use a wide range of Microsoft Office packages particularly in the areas of Word, Excel and Outlook - Other Adhoc duties where required
