We have more than 4,000 dedicated colleagues, at 14 locations across the country, all sharing the same obsession for our great food.Job description:Inventory AnalystBased in Lutterworth6 month FTCPurpose:Were delighted to offer the opportunity for an Inventory Analyst to join our busy team.The role will ensure the integrity and accuracy of the inventory ledger, including statuses, at all times and identify and address discrepancies, as they occur, in order to ensure stock ledger accuracy is maintained.What you will be doing:The integrity of the ledger is paramount, by product, batch, quantity and status.In order to maintain accuracy you will need to:

  • Be responsible for identifying, explaining and resolving any stock differences between SAP and 3PL system
  • Manage and resolve any stock related interface failures, using the WM idoc console, to include:-
  • Responsibility for raising technical support calls for system interface failures
  • Liaise with SAP support provider to ensure any fix / recommendation is appropriate
  • Be responsible for providing any out of process support or manual adjustments to ensure ledger accuracy, until technical solution in place.
  • Perform UAT as required.
  • Using the interface console as a real time analysis of errors, you will be able to:
  • Highlight and escalate any potential QC status risk, or difference, to factory technical teams and customer focus
  • Investigate any differences in qty, batch or status
  • Make any necessary amendments to stock to allow the idocs to process naturally
  • Ensure the original interface document, wherever possible, is maintained to retain traceability
  • Be the touch point between factory and DC in relation to ASNs for BIFG and stock transfer mismatches
  • Validate, for factory planners, any difference between BIFG invoice and actual receipts
  • Identify if stock is despatched to customer and sales order has been deleted in error, after picking
  • Report to Customer Focus, requesting replacement order and manually assign pick, pack and despatch relevant pallets
  • Produce a weekly detailed explanation of stock differences > 24 hours, by status
  • Produce weekly stock adjustment reports and trend analysis
  • Review POD adjustments, with DC and agree plan to minimise
  • Perform manual HU adjustments to reflect pick face movements and pallet rework activity
  • Ensure that all DC inbound traffic is receipted in efficiently and accurately reflected in SAP
  • Ensure that all customer outbound deliveries are PGI’d efficiently and accurately to allow customer invoicing to take place
  • Ensure clearance of ALL in transit transactions including outstanding despatches
  • Recommend changes to processes to streamline stock integrity
  • Be responsible for reflecting stock movement in and out of manual locations, on SAP, as required and produce reconciliations accordingly
  • Perform any adhoc duties as required in association with stock accuracy / movemen
  • What we need from you:
  • SAP Distribution & Inventory Management
  • Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and SAP)
  • Numeracy / attention to detail
  • High level of numeracy
  • Ability to logically understand processes
  • Confidence in computer software use, particularly in MS applications and stock control systems
  • Ability to step back, asses impact, and then prioritise work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Be an effective team player with the ability to build and maintain key relationships with all stakeholders
  • The ability and desire to make things happen, by being proactive an excellent communicator and being able to think and working smartly
