We have more than 4,000 dedicated colleagues, at 14 locations across the country, all sharing the same obsession for our great food.Job description:International Export AdministratorBased in Lutterworth (Homebased due to Covid currently)6 month FTCFlexibility to work occasional weekendsPurpose:Were delighted to offer the opportunity for an experienced Export administrator to prepare, collate and submit all export documentation for the International customers accurately and within the required deadlines to ensure customs clearance and compliance in market. You will also work as an integral part of the Supply Chain team and undertake other elements of the process as required.What you will be doing:

  • Prepare, collate and submit export documentation for the International customers. For example, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Manufacturing Declaration, Health Certificate amongst others
  • Understand the exact requirements for each customer from both a content and a timing perspective to ensure accuracy and avoid customs delays
  • Submit Health Certificate applications using the DEFRA on-line system
  • Process and/or upload documents using bespoke customer systems
  • Ensure the timely submission of export documentation to third parties
  • Effectively operate recordkeeping systems
  • Liaise with our third party Distribution Centre, transport companies, Technical team and other internal departments to resolve any queries.
  • Through a thorough understanding of the end to end process, build up sufficient knowledge to be able to challenge or question document contents if “something does not look right”
  • Take ownership of the documentation process and proactively identify and resolve any issues
  • What we need from you:
  • Must have strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to understand priorities and work to strict deadlines
  • Ideally experience of export documentation preparation and processes
  • Ability to understand processes and learn new systems
  • Openness to learn and ability to take on new information is essential as Brexit may require short notice changes to process.
  • Ability to work independently but as part of a team
  • Strong team player and able to build and maintaining relationships
  • Well-developed computer system skills (MS office & Excel)
  • Ability to manage changing information and priorities
  • Good communications skills (verbal & written)
  • Effective workload management, planning and organising work in a logical manner
  • Must be customer focussed and strive to give an excellent service
  • Must demonstrate an enthusiastic, proactive and passionate manner
