Job Description

Commercial Support Officer; Luton; 6-month contract; £15.50ph; Inside IR35 We a001/2024e recruiting a Commercial Support Officer to join our client’s Commercial Team based in Luton . The role is full time and will be working on site every day. The purpose of the role To support the day-to-day Commercial operation of the business and be responsible for the administration and activities associated with customer enquiries, the return of quotations, order receipt and management though to invoice clearance and overdue debt reduction. Duties Process and support the company order book to reflect the customer purchase order requirements in a timely and professional manner. Facilitate the invoicing process and be responsible for overdue debt clearance (including direct liaison and management of overdue debt resolution with customers. Executes the agreed actions for improvements/ recoveries on claims and disputes including actions to align customer scorecards, in close collaboration with the responsible disciplines. Co-ordination of Commercial communication to and from internal and external customers. Ability to integrate with internal processes and departments to highlight commercial issues to the program. Support the interface with the business to highlight contractual obligations to its customers in order to avoid breach of such obligations. To support customer / change negotiations and implementation including analysis of data and pricing. Establishing and controlling robust document management in the IPT and towards/ from the customer. Candidates must be able to show the following skills and experience Expereience of providing admin support in a commercial / contracts environment An understanding of commercial contracts An understanding of regulatory compliance requirements Confident in the use of MS Office Packages in particular Word , Excel and PowerPoint Expereience of using SharePoint An understanding of working with the Intranet Attention to detail Excellent communication skills Knowledge and experience of using SAP would be an advantage Morson is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy Buyer; vendor management; supply chain; procurement; purchasing; supplier management; risk management; negotiation; supplier performance; purchase orders; ERP systems; MS Office; influencing skills; shipping; ITAR; spares and repairs; RFQ; invoicing; SAP; Orderbook management
