Job Description

The event administratorwill oversee planning events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.You will demonstrate exceptional organisational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time management. Your creativity, organisational skills, and vision will assist our organisation in amplifying brand visibility andimprove our organisations growth through events that effectively communicate business strategy and brand personality.You will be expected to travel to events within the UK and may be required to work evenings and weekends, therefore flexibility is essential.You will be

  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts.
  • Handling budgeting and invoicing.
  • Management P&Ls of events and average order values of ticket sales
  • Managing and delivering sales training.
  • Liaising and negotiating with vendors.
  • Handling logistics.
  • Updating senior management.
  • Managing branding and communication.
  • Developing event feedback surveys.
  • Handling post-event reports.
  • Handling pre and post-event communications with attendees.
  • Management of the events inbox.
The Role will include but is not limited to management of the below events:
  • Quarterly networking events (in person) for CCI and other programme participants.
  • Masterclass events (such as finance, corporate governance, etc).
  • In Touch webinars via BrightTALK and Zoom.
  • In Touch Live weekly free events.
  • In Touch virtual and live events (such as How to Become and Executive Coach, Introduction to a Portfolio. Career, how to become a Non-Executive Director, etc).
  • Ad hoc events, workshops, conferences.
  • In Touch staff events.
  • Securing venues and organising logistics for any in person programmes, if needed.
The success of the role will be measured via a number of KPIs to be agreed per event and may include Profitability, Feedback, Registration to attendee %, Average order value, Trustpilot.You will need
  • Previous experience in events administration
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation skills when looking for the best price from venues, suppliers, and contractors
  • Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event.
  • Problem-solving skills and diplomacy.
  • The ability to manage budgets.
  • A flexible, target-driven, proactive approach.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Sales and marketing skills to promote the event and potentially attract sponsorship.
  • project management experience.
