Job Description

Roman Recruitment are currently recruiting a Transport Compliance Manager with a H&S (Health and Safety) background for an expanding transport services provider in the area of Loughborough.The transport provider has been growing rapidly. In the Transport Compliance Manager position you will be responsible for all H&S, compliance/quality management and audit within the company, ensuring training is given to transport staff, checking tachographs and general transport compliance.Transport Compliance Manager Overview

  • Monitoring the progress of the entire operation, focusing mainly on health & safety
  • Ensuring the drivers’ and fleet of vehicles are planned
  • Supporting team members
  • Liaising with clients to assist with any requirements
  • Receive, document and handle any staff enquiries
  • Ensure Health & Safety and legal requirements are being followed
  • Responsible for driver, warehouse & logistics staff management
  • Customer Service and offices responsibilities
  • Following up on accident / injury investigations
    • Transport Compliance Manager Requirements
  • Must have previous experience within a transport, warehousing or logistics role
  • Must have experience in a health & safety management position
  • Must have a full UK drivers’ license
    • Transport Compliance Manager Remuneration
  • Salary Flexible
  • Hours Core Hours / Monday - Friday
  • Holidays 20 days + 8 days bank holiday
