Job Description

Tekla 3D DetailerLocation - Loughborough Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (Dependant on experience)Are you an experienced Tekla 3D Detailer looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills Metalis are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Tekla 3D Detailer based in Loughborough, UK.Our client is a reputable engineering firm that specialises in structural steelwork. With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, they have built a solid reputation for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. Joining their dynamicteam will provide you with ample opportunities for professional growth and contribute to exciting and challenging projects.Job Duties:

  • Develop detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures software, ensuring compliance with engineering and architectural requirements.
  • Create accurate and comprehensive fabrication and assembly drawings.
  • Generate material lists, bills of materials, and CNC data for production purposes.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to resolve design issues and ensure constructability.
  • Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform clash detection and coordination with other trades.
  • Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies related to structural steel detailing.
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Tekla 3D Detailer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in Tekla Structures software is essential.
  • Sound knowledge of structural steelwork and construction methods.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., BS EN 1090, AISC, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for continuous learning.
Salary & Hours:
  • Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (Dependant on experience)
  • 39hours per week working the following shift pattern: Monday - Thursday 07:45am - 16:45pm, Friday 07:45am - 14:15pm
  • Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
