Job Description

SITE ENGINEER / FITTER, £22000-£24000, £40 PER NIGHT OUT ALLOW, £35 PER DAY FOOD ALLOW, ACCOMODATION, 28 DAYS LEAVE, Position: Site Engineer / Fitter - AWAYLocation: LoughboroughSalary: £22000 - £24000 per annum, £40 per night out, £35 per day food, Accomodation paidBenefits: 28 days leave, pension, parkingHours: Monday leaving at 6am, returning Friday 15.00pm or Monday to Friday 7-4.30pm in the warehouseOur client is the official distributor of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. They provide the equipment, install the equipment, service and offer solution based approach which is a niche market.Due to this our client is looking to expand their team with an additional Site Engineer / Fitter.This role is an away role. You would leave the warehouse on Monday at 6am to the site and return Friday 3pm to the warehouse. There might be a week or two where you will be required to assist in the assembly of hydraulic hoses.The Responsibilities of a Site Engineer / Fitter is:

  • Providing scheduled and emergency service to our clients.
  • Preparing written documentation of all activities including all measurements that define inspection and tests.
  • Adherence to safe working requirements at all times and site Health & Safety conditions.
  • Updating our software with hose system changes remotely.
The Requirements of a Site Engineer / Fitter is:
  • Have fitting experience (1+ years)
  • Be willing to learn about the use of our product and be trained adequately.
  • Be flexible to stay away from home overnight when required.
  • Have a full driving licence.
  • Be able to liaise with customers and team members.
  • Have excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • Be able to put their problem-solving skills to the test.
  • Demonstrate a flexible "can do" attitude.
  • Have an eye for detail.
  • Be IT literate.
