Job Description

Aspire People are working with mainstream schools with SEN units, and SEN schools in Loughborough recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants/Behaviour specialist.The mainstream schools offer various roles working in SEN units, or in the main school supporting 121 SEN needs depending on the childs requirements and ability. Some schools have split the SEN unit into year groups ie EYFS up to KS2 therefore working withsmall groups.The successful SEN Teaching Assistants/Behaviour specialist will need to have a qualification and have experience. The experience will be working with children with ADHD, Anxiety, Anorexia, Aphasia, Aspergers syndrome, Auditory processing disorder, Autisticspectrum disorder, Behavioural difficulties- EBD, SEBD and SEMH.The successful SEN Teaching Assistants/Behaviour specialist must have good behaviour management skills and techniques, wanting to make a difference and must be reliable and consistent.Aspire People offer:- Dedicated team, and local consultant available 24/7- Competitive rates of pay- Flexible work (Day to day, short/long term contracts, permanent)- Outstanding Refer a friend schemeQualifications:- NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant- CACHE Level 3- BA Education Studies - NCFE- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education Early Years Educator- Special Educational Needs (SEN) - Advanced, - Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Special Educational Needs (RQF)- Autism Awareness- Autism Awareness - Advanced- Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) DiplomaThe Responsibilities:- Reliable and punctual- Good communication skills- Be able to adapt to level of ability- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team- 121 Support- Classroom Assistant- Booster Groups- Personal Hygiene I am keen to talk to Level 3 Teaching Assistants/SEND graduates who are interested in working Outstanding/Good schools.
