I have been instructed on an exciting opportunity by my client, a small and boutique law firm who are part of a Financial Planning company, who are looking for a Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join the Residential Conveyancing team. This opportunitywill sit within the firms Loughborough office and you will be working on a variety of high net worth and complex Conveyancing matters.Responsibilities- You will be supporting more senior Residential Conveyancers with their caseloads of high net worth, and at times complex, files- Creating and distributing relevant correspondence and legal documentation- Liaising regularly with clients and other third parties such as organisations and dealing with basic enquiries, using your initiative to pass on to relevant members of your team- Providing clients with quotes on fees based on the provided scale- Maintaining solid client and third party relationships to ensure smooth running of each file- Preparing legal documentation including contracts, completion statements, SDLT forms, Land Registry searches and registrations, to name a few- Maintaining client files and general ad-hoc tasks, delegated to you by more senior members of the Residential Conveyancing teamThe ideal candidate- Previous experience from a Residential Conveyancing department is essential- The successful candidate will ideally be looking to join a close-knit team and in return they can offer good flexibility surrounding home working and genuine support for those looking to go forward with the CILEx, SQE and STEP accreditations- Personality is important to this firm so you must be an excellent communicator able to gel well with allHow to applyIf you are keen to discuss this Residential Conveyancing Assistant role further and/or would like to apply, please call Vicky Cavendish directly on Sacco Mann, Leeds.
