Distinct are working exclusively with an innovative global engineering/technology business to hire an experienced Product Marketing Manager. This company has developed a range of world leading technology and cutting-edge products which have benefitted a number of industries including automotive, aerospace and telecoms to name a few.This is a new role, and you will be a key member of the Marketing team, responsible for leading all product marketing activity across their product portfolio throughout their lifecycle. The Product Marketing Manager will proactively manage product positioning and messaging and will work with the Communications team to develop compelling marketing strategies, sales collateral, content marketing and sales campaigns that resonate with their target audiences.You will work closely with the Product Development teams to understand the products and to contribute to product specifications and roadmaps. You will also be responsible for the gathering, interpretation and communication of the competitor landscape, being the technical marketing expert across their markets.The successful candidate will hold a Batchelors degree (or equivalent) in a relevant business-related subject and ideally a professional qualification with the CIM. You will have significant product marketing experience within a technical B2B environment and be able to demonstrate previous experience of creating and delivering successful product marketing plans. Experience of leading successful product launches of new technologies is required and any exposure to International marketing would be a bonus.You will be proficient in the use of a CRM, Google Analytics, MS Office and web-based tools.
