Job Description

The Recruitment Group are excited to share an opportunity for a QC LIMS Analyst to join our well-established pharmaceutical client based in Loughborough on a full-time basis.The role is paying between £12.54 per hourSupporting the clients QC teams, this role will be responsible for providing and maintaining service to the Laboratory Information Management System. The successful applicant would represent the department as required to include internal and external customersas well as regulators for both the local site and a remote site.Role

  • Work to appropriate laboratory systems, standards and procedures, e.g., data recording, labelling, investigation and calibration procedures. Complete analytical documentation including the input of results onto the LIMS system.
  • Set up and maintain laboratory information management system to comply with site and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the LIMS templates / specification building on the LIMS system and be able to author LIMS documents with minimal input.
  • Able to prepare detailed and effective Change Control documentation to facilitate changes with input from Managers.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within own group.
  • Participate as a team member for Group CI projects as appropriate.
  • Communicate with auditors and general employee expectations during an audit and be able to present answers to audit questions to an auditor during an internal audit.
Skills & Experience
  • Must have BTEC HND with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • 240 OU points in relevant discipline
  • Must have worked with GLP, GMP, Specifications and Test Methods
  • Must have experience within the pharmaceutical industry or similar regulated industry
  • Knowledge of relational databases, Structured Query Language and IT systems
  • Knowledge and application of current safety regulations (e.g., CoSHH) as applicable to laboratory functions
