Would you like to join an exciting and expanding company We are working on the HS2 project and have recently won another large contract so are expanding our team.ERSI Group are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our team on a permanent, full time basis at our factory in Loughborough. Initially you will be based at our factory in Ilkeston so need to be able to travel to both locations.We are a global engineering company who is successful in winning new contracts with a great reputation. We are one of very few companies in the world who offer full services from supply, designing, manufacturing and the finished product. You will need to be someone who is NEBOSH or IOSH and preferably CARES certified, and worked in a similar industry and environment. The roleAs our Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for the Quality, Health and Safety, and Environment (QHSE) within the factory, working with the senior management team and site managers ensuring compliance and wellbeing across the company. You will use your knowledge in those areas to provide support and ensure all risks are well managed, complete audits to keep up with Standards requirements and make certain safety policies are adhered to.You must have experience in a QHSE Manager, ideally have an industry background in Steel however we are considering manufacturing, engineering and construction backgrounds. We are looking for someone who can communicate well at all levels, has a comprehensive understanding of the Health and Safety Act 1974 and other H&S legislations, as well as ISO and Cares.This is an exciting opportunity to drive the department in this growing business.
