Job Description

Job Title: Head of CommunicationsLocation: Loughborough, UKOnsite5 days a weekSalary: Competitive rate depending on experience - and an excellent range of benefits.Reuben Sinclair have partnered with one of the UKs leading brand agencies, in supporting their recruitment drive. Our client is looking for a Head of Communications to join their growing team. lead their communications and PR strategy.This is truly an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced agency environment, working with a range of clients across a multitude of industries nationally, and internationally (including both Retail and B2B).As part of their role, the Head of Communications will lead the communications and PR strategy.Key responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Day-to-day management of the content, social media and PR teams
  • Contributing to and reporting into the Senior Leadership Team
  • Able to create and deliver a variety of communication campaigns
  • Leading and managing a strong Comms team
  • Devise and implement strategies, review the results, and adapt accordingly
  • Building relationships with industry leaders to grow industry awareness
  • Preparing case studies, speeches, articles, and annual reports
  • Maintaining a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and making appropriate recommendations regarding the communication strategy surrounding them.
What are we looking for:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalentideally in journalism or marketing
  • A minimum of three years experience in communications, presenting, media relations, social media, content, videography and/or PR across any genre with a strong written and journalists skillset
  • Experience in managing, supporting and overseeing a Comms team
  • Prepare new business tenders and presentations
  • Knowledge of Comms tools including Gorkana and Meltwater
  • Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with the occasional long hours
  • Understanding of SEO, digital and traditional communications and the multichannel approach to marketing
