Electronics Engineer (NPI / R&D)£70,000 - £80,000 + Share Options + 32 Days Holiday + 8% Employer Pension + Career ProgressionLoughboroughAre you an Electronics Engineer, with any testing experience, looking to take on a key role within the engineering department, assisting in their commercial prototype development, where you will have the opportunity to overcome and develop solutions to complexengineering obstaclesDo you have any experience working in an R&D environment and are looking for a hands-on, challenging role that will enable you to utilise your skills and expertise, all while receiving excellent benefits such as company share options, generous holiday allowanceand a competitive pensionThe company has been a leader in the water industry for over 15 years, boasting a high-profile presence and pioneering market leading technology with a mission to create a global solution for renewing aged drinking water pipes through trenchless installation.Providing multiple environmental benefits and impacting the future of the water industry, the company are looking for an Electronics Engineer to assist with the testing and development of their commercial prototype.As the Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for developing hardware and control systems for sensors, instrumentation etc, analogue and digital circuit design and integration, hands on assembly and test work; diagnosing and fault finding as needed.This role would suit an Electronics Engineer, looking for a challenging role in an R&D setting, with the opportunity to become part of a technological solution with dominant impact in sustainable engineering methods.The Role:

  • Responsible for developing hardware and control systems
  • Use laboratory equipment as needed
  • Hands-on assembly and test work
  • Programming embedded microcontrollers
  • Analogue and digital circuit design and integration
