Credit ControllerLoughboroughTo £28k DOEFull TimeOffice based (Flex available 1 day from home)The OpportunityA thriving company part of a national group but operating as a stand alone business are seeking a credit controller for sole position operating within an established finance team.The RoleYou’ll be responsible for the entire ledger, typically c£2m per month across various clients from smaller value in invoices to national accounts. You’ll be building those all important relationships, overseeing payment allocation, chasing overdue debt and workingwithin a target DSO level, negotiating payment plans, ensuring customers pay on time and working up to legal proceedings where required, liaising with external agencies where requiredThe CandidateWe’re looking to draw interest from applicants who demonstrate experience within Credit Control as a primary role. Ideally you’ll be well versed with Sage (not essential) but you’ll also know your way around a spreadsheet and have a good working knowledge aroundcredit control processes. You’ll be customer focused with a logical and diplomatic approach to maintaining a sales ledgerYou’ll also need to be confident, agile and adaptable, a true team player with excellent soft skills.The BenefitsSalary c £28k pending experience + bens including 25 days holiday, Company pension, Health & Well being programme, Cycle to work scheme
