Job Title: Transformer WinderLocation: Loughborough, LeicestershireDuration: Ongoing ContractShifts: Mornings & AfternoonsMornings : 7am - 4pm Mon to Thurs, 7am -1pm Fri (£16.51 PAYE or £21.69 Umbrella)Afters : 4pm-1am Mon to Thurs, 1pm -7pm Fri.(£16.51 PAYE or £21.69 Umbrella 4pm-9pm) (£22.01 PAYE or £29.13 Umbrella 9pm-11pm)(£24.77 PAYE or £32.86 Umbrella 11pm- 1am)We are currently recruiting for a Transformer Winder for an ongoing contract based in Loughborough.Working as a Transformer Winder to build different types of coil winding, working to deliver quality transformer products on time.The role requires the ability to read engineering drawings, to build transformers, and to ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner as per the process requirements.Full training will be given.Key Duties & Responsibilities:* Understanding and working to engineering drawings and specifications, in order to manufacture LV, HV, and tap coil windings.* Inspecting materials i.e., copper, cylinders, insulations, etc. prior to start of each project, using calibrated measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, etc.* Operating and controlling a lathe type coil winding machine.* Operating overhead cranes, electric pallet truck, and guillotine after being given training.* Standing/upending, plating, and oven processing of all coil windings.* Maintaining 5S standards and other housekeeping activities of winding shop area.* Ensuring process and quality control plans are filled in regularly kept up to date.--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
