Job Description

Coach Builder Opportunity - Leicestershire

  • Position: Coach Builder/Panel Technician
  • Location:Leicestershire
  • Salary:Up to £31,000 per annum + Bonus + Overtime
  • Working Hours:Monday to Thursday 08:00 hrs to 16:30hrs,Friday 0800hrs to 1530hrs
Are you a skilled Coach Builder/Panel Technician seeking a rewarding career in the commercial vehicle sector My client, a leading player in the global transport solutions industry, is offering a fantastic opportunity to join their esteemed team.Who You Are:
  • Ideally have a C&G,NVQ or ATA qualification (or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience in HGV or PSV coach building
  • Proficiency in painting, welding, and body repair techniques
  • Holds a valid UK driving license
  • Previous work experience in the commercial vehicle industry
  • Bonus points if you hold a Class 1 License.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks as a Coach Builder:
  • Execute repairs adhering to manufacturer’s procedures and safety guidelines
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Assist in fault diagnosis procedures
  • Follow warranty procedures diligently during repairs and with warranty material upon completion
  • Collaborate with the parts team to ensure accurate replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles
  • Conduct road tests (if holder of HGV license) when necessary
  • Ensure accurate completion of job cards
