Job Description

Teaching Personnel are working with a GOOD Primary School in Longsight who are looking to appoint 2 SEN TAs to join their team on a full time basis in September 2022.The Head Teacher and Senior Leaders of the School are looking for 2 TAs who will work closely with children across KS1 and KS2 to help them to develop both academically and emotionally. The role will be to support a number of children with needs such asASC, ADHD and SEMH who work from Educational Health Care Plans. The school are looking for applicants who have experience working with challenging behaviours. Training will also be provided.To be considered for one of the posts, you will have an SEN qualification, experience working with children or adults with special educational needs and will be free on a full time basis from September. Both roles are full time and will run for the durationof the academic year. The opportunity for extension into the following year may also be possible.The roles are to work in a Primary School that was most recently graded as GOOD by Ofsted. The Senior Leaders of the school are dedicated to creating an inclusive learning environment for all children and are looking for 2 TAs who will get stuck in toall areas of school life.The ideal candidate will:- Have experience supporting children or adults with special educational needs- Have experience working and ammending educational health care plans- Hold a SEN qualification or equivalent- Have a compassionate and understanding nature- Have a passion for working with and encouraging children with additional needsThe school are looking to short lists for the post ASAP.
