SEN Science Teacher (QTS qualified)South Norwood, LondonASAP start We are currently working with a Special Educational Needs College in South London. They are currently looking to recruit SEN Science Teacher to start immediately, this may continue in September. They are looking for candidates who have experience workingwith students with SEMH needs and behavioural difficulties.The College is a successful, vibrant SEN school, for students with Social Emotional and Mental Health. A place where the childrens needs come first. They have a highly motivated, caring, committed and loving staff team. Whose primary aim is to promote equality,nurture and progress, alongside supporting the needs of every child.The College has an excellent Curriculum Offer: Maths, English, Science, Art, ICT, Citizenship, Employability, PSHE and Sports/fitness. They also have a vocational department consisting of Carpentry, bricklaying, painting, and decorating, multi skills andhospitality and catering. The students have the opportunity to work towards GCSEs, Functional Skills and Entry level qualifications.All staff work closely with parents/carers to ensure this happens and recognise the importance of good communication between home, school and multi - agencies.Key skills and experience needed:

Experience teaching Entry Level, Functional Skills and GCSE Science.
SEN experience is essential, preferably with young.
Previous support work within a school or other child related experience
Strong behaviour management
One to one and small group work
Professional manner
Enthusiastic, positive and friendly approach
