Bodyshop Vehicle Prepper vacancy - Temporary/ ContractLocation - NewarkSalary - Negotiable - based on skillset and time served Hours - Monday to Friday 7.00am to 17.30pm plus overtimeVehicle Prepper, Vehicle Panel beater required for our clients thriving business in Gloucester. Their in-house Bodyshop Vehicle Painters and preppers work on their own fleet of Vehicles in the Swindon area Requirements of the role*To prepare panels, quarters, bonnets, wheel arches and various other areas of the vehicle in for repair for the paint process*Fill and in some cases, panel beat flaws and dents which may be visible on the vehicle*Colour match paints and mix to the desired shade *Flat the surface and apply primer followed by the topcoat of paint followed by the lacquer then polish to a finishCandidate Requirement*You will ideally be qualified to NVQ level 3 or the City and Guilds equivalent, although time served Vehicle painters, Preppers and panel beaters with relevant experience are encouraged to apply*You will possess your own spray guns and trade associated hand tools as a minimum. The client will provide any equipment that is standard to all bodyshops.
