Job Description

Year 1 Class Teacher KS1 Teacher | March 2024 - July 2024 (Potentially longer) Location: Acton Full-time - 5 days/per week - ongoing Are you a dedicated and confident KS1 Teacher looking for a new role in a supportive, welcoming primary schoolTeach Plus are currently working with a 2-form entry, Outstanding primary school located in Acton who are seeking a full-time, Year 1 Class Teacher to join them from March until July - potentially longer for the right candidate.The school is a well-resourced, welcoming, and nurturing primary school that has excellent facilities to aid learning. They are supported well by the local community and parents are engaged in their childrens learning.As a Year 1 Class Teacher you will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver lessons following the KS1 curriculum
  • Writing reports and assessments
  • Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression
  • Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the internal development of the school
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Have strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
  • Has a passion for teaching and have the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Be creative and energetic, with strong classroom management skills
  • UK recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
