Proudly celebrating over 50 years and with a turnover of over £20 million, we provide invaluable care and support to over 7,500 people across the five London Boroughs of Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark.Your new roleWe have an exciting new role that has arisen within our unique, brand new education and learning focused facility, which lies at the heart of St Christophers Sydenham site. We are looking for someone that is highly organised and passionate about delivering high quality teaching and learning opportunities to a wide range of learners, from beginners to experienced professionals.As the Workshop Lead Facilitator, you will be responsible for the following: All workshops delivered face to face and virtually in the Centre and related sites, while working alongside associates. Design, development and delivery of introductory sessions (in line with St Christophers CARE curriculum) Design, development and delivery of skills programmes for professional staff and family carers, utilising the opportunities provided by the Skills Lab and other settings. Design, development and delivery of bespoke face to face programmes for a range of learners Developing and adapting curriculum content to reflect the new St Christophers CARE pedagogic framework (Learn with CARE).To succeed in this role You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold a recognised professional qualification for teaching, qualified teacher status or equivalent (e.g. Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy) You should have previous experience delivering workshops or equivalent (including remote / virtual) and be skilled with designing and developing curriculums. It is important that you are experienced working collaboratively to deliver teaching, and you will need to be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal including pre-recorded. You will have sound knowledge of Online Learning Platforms (Moodle or equivalent) and virtual teaching software (Zoom / Collaborate / MS Teams). Due to the busy nature of the role it is crucial that you are able to manage your time and prioritise work effectively, while working effectively under pressure and to deadlines.
