Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Supervisor to join our team here in Central London and various South-West locations.Job title: Working Mobile SupervisorLocation: To cover Central London and various South-West locations.Salary: circa £45,000.00 + Fully expensed company van provided in addition to mobile phone & uniform.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week between 08:00 - 17:00hrs

  • May be required to starter earlier or later.
  • There is an on-call element of 1 in 3. This may change in time to be more or less frequent dependant on requirement and staffing levels.
Job purpose
  • Provision of all-round engineering support, maintaining the buildings infrastructures.
  • To have a detailed understanding of all new or current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety/Building codes of practice.
  • To act as a co-ordination point for the day-to-day activities on site, specialist service partners and build a relationship with clients and tenants.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that all activities within the buildings are undertaken with a professional and conscientious outlook with regards to the quality of work and Health & Safety, maintaining the 100% uptime criteria.
  • To ensure that there are excellent standards of response to plant failures, completion of assigned work and ensure any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently.
Duties include
  • Produce quotations as required
  • Carry out site inspections and audits as required
  • Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work as required
  • Assist the Contracts manager in the management of sub-contractors
  • Planning of weekly labour allocation, issuing weekly labour planner
  • Provide holiday cover as required on the static and mobile sites
  • Control of specialist contractors including monitoring of work performance and standards, including internal auditing where applicable
  • Carry out weekly, Monthly service visits as and when required
Qualifications
  • The Mobile Supervisor should come from an apprenticeship, electrical biased, L8 Trained. Ideally, they will have experience of working with emergency procedures, issuing permits, sub-contractor control, and completion of PPMs.
  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation
  • C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2
  • Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices. Sound level of administration/organisational skills
