Job Description

Role: Investment AnalystLocation: London (Hybrid working)Salary: £70 - 85k based on experience with flexible workingComanos, part of the Cobalt group, is working with a well-established renewable energy investment platform, investing in the development of onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects, and they have an exciting opportunity for an Investment Analystwho will be responsible for supporting the team with the investment and financing for new and existing portfolio assets. Our client is backed by a well-capitalised, highly active investor making this an excellent opportunity for an Analyst to have exposureto sourcing and executing new investment opportunities.Day to day responsibilities:

  • Support Pioneering Deals: Assist in analysing and evaluating potential investments in renewable energy and infrastructure projects, championing innovation and sustainability within the sector.
  • Negotiation Support: Utilise your analytical skills to support in assessing deal structures and potential outcomes, ensuring favorable results for the fund and its stakeholders.
  • Strategic Assistance: Provide analytical support in understanding project finance and capital markets to identify unique investment opportunities.
  • Build Key Relationships: Cultivate and maintain connections with industry stakeholders, from project developers to financial partners, to facilitate collaborative growth.
  • Inspire Excellence: Support the team in achieving collective success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment through detailed analysis and research.
Required skills and qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelors degree and a Masters degree or CFA designation is advantageous.
  • Renewable energy sector experience, having worked in a structured finance or investment role/team.
  • Ability to manage and support the due diligence process.
  • Great knowledge and understanding of financial databases (Eg. Mergermarket/Bloomberg).
  • Open to occasional travel when necessary.
Personal Skills:
  • Passionate about renewable energy.
  • Excellent communications skills, team player, hardworking, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Speaking multiple languages is a plus.
