Our expert services are confidential and non-judgemental.An exciting opportunity has arisen for GamCare Womens Programme to appoint a Team Leader withexperience of leading, coaching and line managing teams.There is a perception that problem gambling is only a male issue. This is not true - gambling related harm affects women too, and the impact can be particularly severe for some of the most vulnerablewomen in our society. Despite this, women do not come forward for treatment and there are few organisations that specialise in supporting women have robust pathways into gambling related treatment.GamCare Womens Programme aims to engage with local communitiesand services across the public and third sector that work with women. The programme raises awareness and improves, identification, support, signposting and referral of women experiencing gambling-related harms.The Programme is delivered by a team of Trainingand Engagement Leads based throughout all regions of England, Scotland and Wales. The team is currently led by a Team Leader, highly supported by a Programme Manager and GamCares senior team. The Team Leader role will be critical to the success of this nationalflagship programme, making sure that all remote-working Training and Engagement Leads feel well supported, and ensuring that all learning is spread across everyone who works with women and girls, and fed back into the national picture. You will be responsiblefor ensuring cohesion, consistency and collaboration across the different workstreams and will support the team by developing and coordinating service user engagement structures, training systems and learning resources. You will support data and evaluationprocesses for the Programme, being responsible for making sure that local work is effective and delivering against its targets and objectives. You will also role model good practice by delivering training yourself.Passion, enthusiasm and commitment for thework will help to you to make sure that this important issue is given the attention it deserves.
