A global, luxury fashion retailer is looking to hire a wholesale director to join its UK and Nordics operational team. They have a global diversity, equity and inclusion strategy to make the brand an employer of choice for all.They have recently posted record financial results, demonstrating the company is one of the standout performers in the fashion industry.The role of wholesale director will oversee the brands under the company portfolio across the UK, Ireland and Nordics totalling eight countries. You will be responsible for the commercial performance across all wholesale and concession sales channels. The rolemanages an already established team including two heads of wholesale, along with a larger sales team reporting into both. This role will also include a degree of international travel across the Nordics region.They are looking for an established retail professional with a pedigree at director (or equivalent) level. You will have gained experience across wholesale and concession channels and have developed a network of relationships with all the right contacts withinthe market. The ideal candidate will come from luxury or premium fashion retail, international exposure is advantageous but not essential.In return they are offering a salary of up to £150,000 per year, with the opportunity to earn an additional £45,000 in bonus, paid annually. The role also comes with family healthcare and an enhanced contributory pension scheme that you would expect for thislevel of appointment.
