Job Description

Our clients are one of the UKs largest banks and they are currently recruiting for a White Label Business Development Director to generate and lead the business development on the banks investment platform.Reporting to the White Label Partnerships Senior Manager, youll be responsible for, identifying and securing business-to-business partnerships, utilising the banks technology on a white labelled basis. You will also be working alongside other coverage teamswithin the bank to identify where potential business can be generated from existing clients databases, whilst utilising your own existing relationships.Principle Accountabilities/Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and activate new distribution partners through strong relationships, effective pricing, contracting and the signing of appropriate legal documentation.
  • Negotiating profitable commercial terms, effective SLAs and contracts.
  • Conveying to the buyers the compelling reasons to partner with the bank and can build rapid trust and rapport in their technical, commercial and service capabilities.
  • Building sustainable corporate knowledge of any material distribution partner through CRM tracking and techniques.
  • Demonstrate issue ownership at time-of-service recovery and has the strength of relationship to hold the line on our commercial interests.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in all areas of Investment Platforms, SIPPs, GIA, ISA, JISA and XO Sharedealing and market practice.
  • Act as a technical consultant and trainer to distribution partners where required, and directly collaborate with individual key members on complex matters/solutions where required.
  • Lead the relationship and governance with prospective white label exercises.
  • Ensure activity is measured against a clear set of critical metrics.
  • Align all input and output to robust commercial priorities.
  • Play a key role in the White Label Partnerships team.
Key Capabilities
  • Experienced in consultative selling and working with technology platforms - keeping abreast of current developments and trends in the marketplace.
  • Ability to win and manage large corporate partnership deals.
  • Collaborative in style and able to resolve problems and achieve goals, sharing ideas, skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to demonstrate building and maintaining effective relationships at senior management/board level.
  • A detailed understanding of financial advice, B2B & D2C investment and platform technology markets and key trends shaping the market.
  • Ability to demonstrate highly effective interpersonal and communication skills including persuasive, influencing, motivational and negotiation skills, at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to evaluate a range of information and metrics, identifying and prioritising subsequent appropriate actions.
  • A natural reflex to understanding the commercial activities between the partner and the bank.
  • Ability to quickly and smoothly hand over client relationships to colleagues where required, without detriment to the level of commercial activity
