We are currently recruiting for two Welcome Response Officers to join the Welcome Response Team.The purpose of the team is to engage and support residents who are arriving in the borough affected by unrest in their own home countries. The Welcome Officers will be on hand to provide advice and support to help arrivals obtain benefits, register for healthcare and apply for school places amongst others requirements.The ideal candidates would have bilingual language skills including Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Farsi, Pashto and Dari.
