Job Description

An exciting e-commerce business in London is looking for a Web Developer.

  • Based in London
  • 2 days a week in the office
  • Start date: 26/02/24
  • £60,000 - £70,000
The JobAs the Web Developer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the design and development of responsive web applications using React, NextJS, and Typescript.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into high-quality code.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in web development, and advocate for their adoption within the team.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy discussions.
You
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on front-end technologies.
  • Proficiency in React, NextJS, and Typescript, with a proven track record of delivering complex web applications.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
