Web Application Developer / Software Developer / API Programmer - ASP.Net, WPF, C#/ C++ JAVA, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SOAP, REST, AGILE/SCRUM. Permanent. £50k +Benefits Multi-national insurance company seeks to appoint a Web Application Developer to play a key role in the development of a range of insurance applications using a common Model Driven Development Platform. Any development language experience of API and/or Application Development on a Business Process Management (BPM) software application can be considered. The Web Application Developer will play a key role in the delivery of a suite of Insurance Brokerage and Underwriting applications onto a new, market leading, model-driven development platform. You will employ API customisation and development expertise utilising full stack development skills in either C# or Java with Javascript & JQuery for server side programming and front end development with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap etc. Due to the nature of the work a great deal of interaction with the business will be required and as such exceptional communication skills are pre-requisite. Agile/Scrum methods are employed within this team and you will become involved with fortnightly sprints. We are searching for a Web Application Developer / Analyst Programmer / Software Developer who has been working in a full stack application development capacity within the full life cycle utilising C# or Java, SQL, Javascript, JQuery, HTML and CSS etc and who is keen to bring these skills into a role which is both client-facing yet remains hands-on in a lead development capacity where you will learn new skills within the model driven development arena, delivering systems on the Mendix platform. No prior experience of Mendix is necessary. You may have gained experience with other business rules management systems and had some exposure to: OpenText MBPM, OpenText Content Server, OpenText StreamServe, Sequence Kinetics, Progress Corticon but this is not necessary or essential as full training will be provided. Full stack application development experience, experience of AGILE/Scrum and exceptional communication skills will enable consideration for this role.
