Join us as a Web Application Developer In this key role, youll collaborate with multiple stakeholders to design, build and deliver solutions to internal customers Youll be partnering with the business and technical stakeholders, driving out high qualityand value adding web based solutions This is an opportunity to gain exposure as you educate and sell opportunities and developments in web based applications across the bank Importantly, youll need programming experience in React, Microsoft ASP, .Net Core,CD/CI, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS and HTML 5 What youll do As a Web Application Developer, youll be designing, building and supporting web based applications, as well as producing resilient and long lived software that meets current non-functional requirementsand is flexible to cope with future functional and non-functional needs. Youll also be: Assessing user requirements and stories to arrive at effort required Internally validating all code written for yourself and peers Assisting in managing environments andcode through QA and release processes The skills youll need With a track record of building web-based applications, youll bring programming knowledge and experience across multiple web-based languages and technologies, including React, Microsoft ASP, .NetCore, CD/CI, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS and HTML 5. C# would be good to have, but isnt necessary. Ideally youll hold a degree in computer science, software engineering or something similar, or youll bring equivalent experience. Youll also demonstrate: Theability to rapidly and effectively understand and translate product and business requirements into technical solutions Great communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both senior and non-technical audiencesThe ability to understand and be able to support, modify and maintain systems and code developed by other engineering teams Experience of Agile working Great stakeholder management and collaboration skills
