As a Wayfinding Designer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the physical and digital navigation experiences for our clients spaces. Your expertise in wayfinding design will ensure that users can efficiently and effectively navigate complex environments,fostering a sense of comfort and confidence.Key Responsibilities:Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research to understand user behaviour, environmental context, and client goals. Analyse existing wayfinding systems and identify areas for improvement.Conceptual Design: Develop creative and functional wayfinding concepts that align with the clients brand identity and user needs. Create sketches, mockups, and prototypes to visualisedesign ideas.Spatial Planning: Collaborate with architects and interior designers to integrate wayfinding solutions seamlessly into physical spaces. Consider factors like signage placement, lighting, and materials.Signage Design: Design clear and visually appealing signage systems, including directional signs, maps, symbols, and digital displays. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accessibility standards.Digital Wayfinding: Design user-friendly digital wayfinding interfaces for websites, mobile apps, and interactive kiosks. Focus on user experience and intuitive navigation.Material Selection: Specify appropriate materials for signage and wayfinding elements, considering durability, maintenance, and aesthetics.Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their vision, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to the wayfinding designs.Project Management: Manage multiple wayfinding projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to.Documentation: Create detailed design documentation, including specifications, construction drawings, and digital assets for fabrication and implementation.User Testing: Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine wayfinding designs and improve usability.Qualifications:
