My client school in Stratford are seeking a confident and energetic SEND Wave 2 and Wave 3 to work across all year groups within the school. The role will mainly consist of supporting children with a number of needs as well as supporting the support staff who will be working alongside you.Roles will include:To plan and teach Wave 3 lessons (with support from Senior SEND staff)To teach social skills, fine motor skills, life skills, ASDAN and language for thinking as well as any other subjects required.With support from the senior TA, to brief all TAs in the morning and ensure that they are deployed effectively across the GR site and supported.To deal with day to day SEND pupil issues at the GR site (with support from Senior SEND staff)Day to day communication with parents.To keep records and to monitor Wave 3 pupils progress.To contribute to Annual reviews and to work alongside outside agencies.To plan and deliver dyslexia programmes for the Wave 2 pupils (Mainstream SEND) with support from Senior SEND staff.To be trained to carry out diagnostic tests with individual pupils - assessing the pupils with Lucid Lass and BASC 3 and interpreting the results (with support from Senior SEND staff.)To screen pupils with Lucid Exact to inform access arrangements (with support from Senior SEND staff).To carry out any other tasks within SEND department as necessary.Whilst the primary focus will be the teaching of SEND students, the role may involve teaching a limited number of mainstream lessons, where need dictates.The role is on a fulltime basis and to start immediately.Please call Ben Lockspeiser on or or alternatively email your CV to: blockspeiser"veritas-education.comAPPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION
