Job Description

Join our community.An excellent opportunity for a well-balanced and technical Vice President, within the Structural & Liquidity Risk function. Exposure to both structural and liquidity risks within Santander London Branch. The difference you will make

  • Demonstrating In-depth knowledge of methodologies and assumptions applicable to Structural & Liquidity Risk. Metrics including, LCR, NSFR, Liquidity Buffers, Liquidity Stress Testing, Asset encumbrance, Repricing GAP, NII and MVE.
  • Being aware and up to date of relevant regulatory matters and best practices pertaining to the relevant risk metrics.
  • Ensuring the standard of risk analysis is of a consistently high quality, providing support and guidance from a Structural & Liquidity Risk perspective to the business, specifically Treasury, Short-Term Markets, and other key stakeholders.
  • Having the ability to escalate at an early stage within Risk and additional key stakeholders of a potential, and/or actual deterioration in the Structural and Liquidity risk profile.
  • Managing of daily BAU metric reporting.
  • Deputising for the Executive Director at appropriate committees and forums, and therefore a high level of methodological, technical and systems expertise is required.
What you will bring
  • Experience analysing Structural & Liquidity Risk or equivalent roles understanding the key components of asset and liability management.
  • Ability to manipulate/analyse data set in Excel/VBA/Access.
It would be nice for you to have
  • Banking, Treasury or Accountancy professional qualifications, and/or either an attained or in-progress university degree in a relevant subject.
