Job Description

VP of Engineering Required:Our Award Winning Cybersecurity Client seeks an experience VP of Engineering with the following must have skills and experienceMin of 7 years + commercial experience as a Head of Development / VP of EngineeringRequirements:

  • Prior experience in leading similar software development teams, preferable security software teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to connect with developers and engineers.
  • Good understanding and ideally practical experience in cybersecurity.
  • Experience managing client-side software development teams covering Windows, Mac and Linux.
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud native architectures, in particular on AWS.
  • Flexibility to work alongside the Product Manager and direct the technical team accordingly.
  • Appropriate academic and industry qualifications.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Experience in dealing with stakeholders.
  • Excellent understanding of the current state-of-art IT security utilized by organizations, including trends and best practices.
  • Good knowledge of DevOps best practices.
  • Have good commercial awareness including the commercial impact of technical decisions.
  • The team develops leading edge solutions and comprises individuals highly experienced in specific technical fields, in areas such as endpoint kernel-level anti-keylogging, anti-screen capture, DLL-injection protection, and endpoint segmentation.
  • The company solutions run on a variety of endpoint operating systems: Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android.
  • The technical team comprises Software Developers, Web Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and are based in the offices in central London.
  • The successful candidate will also work closely with the VP of Product, team leaders and Product Managers.
