Our client is a leading tech focused Investment bank, who are now seeking a driven and tech-savvy VP to join their dynamic M&A team focusing on the digital infrastructure sector. Our client advises leading players on critical acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises across the digital infrastructure landscape, from data centers and fiber networks to cloud platforms and edge computing. This is your chance to make a real difference,driving transactions that will build the next generation of digital highways. The role:• Lead deal origination, from identifying and qualifying potential targets to structuring and negotiating complex transactions. • Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers in the digital infrastructure and investment communities. • Deeply analyse market trends and opportunities, providing strategic insights to support deal execution. • Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. • Lead due diligence efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams to assess financial, operational, and legal risks. • Deliver compelling presentations and pitches to both internal stakeholders and external clients. Candidate Requirements:• 7+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or venture capital, with a strong track record in M&A transactions. • Deep expertise in the digital infrastructure sector, with a comprehensive understanding of its sub-verticals and evolving trends. • Proven ability to identify and originate attractive deal opportunities, build compelling investment theses, and navigate complex negotiations. • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with a knack for deciphering complex data and extracting actionable insights. • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with clients, colleagues, and counter parties.
